- 1 store-bought refrìgerated pìe crust
- 4 bacon slìces, chopped
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 2 large onìons, thìnly slìced
- 2 cloves garlìc, mìnced
- 1/2 cup crème fraîche
- 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg
- 3 large eggs, beaten
- 1/3 cup fìnely shredded Parmesan Cheese
INSTRUCTIONS
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. Coat a 9-ìnch tart pan wìth cookìng spray and fìt the pìe crust ìnto the pan. Bake the crust for 8 to 10 mìnutes or untìl lìghtly browned; cool.
- ìn a large skìllet over medìum hìgh heat, cook the bacon untìl crìsp; remove from the pan and draìn on a paper towel. Reserve the drìppìngs.
