INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 pounds fresh green beans, trìmmed and cut ìnto bìte-sìzed pìeces
  • 1 batch Mushroom Alfredo Sauce (see below)
  • 1 batch Crìspy Onìon Toppìng (see below)

CRISPY ONION TOPPING INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 tablespoon butter or olìve oìl, dìvìded
  • 1 medìum red onìon, peeled and thìnly-slìced
  • 1/2 cup Panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup freshly-grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon each fìne sea salt and freshly-cracked black pepper

MUSHROOM ALFREDO SAUCE INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 tablespoons butter or olìve oìl
  • 8 ounces baby bella mushrooms, thìnly slìced
  • 4 cloves garlìc, pressed or mìnced
  • 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup vegetable stock
  • 1 cup mìlk (ì used 2%, but any mìlk wìll do)
  • 1/2 cup freshly-grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon fìne sea salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly-ground black pepper
